SPYKER'S LEADER KNOT

0.45 isn't really a leader and one could just as well connect with a blood knot.

The Albright should be so small it wouldn't really knock a guide hard enough to affect distance.

This Spyker knot will be strong enough and I would recommend at least a 0.55 or 0.60mm as a leader

I get all the steps, but the very first step in post #1 I do not. Can someone please post a step by step guide for tying the ''slip noose'' knot as step 1 for this spyker knot? Or a link please. My google skills is lacking. Where is that ashamed emoticon when you need it.

It's not tying a Slip noose knot you simply fold the loop over itself forming a noose that tightens over the leader

Kyk bietjie hier hoe Schalk die loop maak

Hi Enigma
Can you use this knot for 50lb braid mainline to 180lb braid leader on grinder for shark fishing?
Thanks
