I found very strange the way Tre rigs these jigs.
The leader goes on this swivel that is placed on what I would call "the bottom" of the jig and connected to the assist hook.
It's is fished "upside down", those plastic things "fall" over the lead head as does the assist.....

I will ask them to make some heavier ones for you 300-350-400grTre told me middle of the afternoon.
Like you guys had met with Bennie before I arrived in Durb, and on Bennies Moz report I had seem them I just assumed.
You must try them, imaging how big the next Wreck Fish could be, just fish them "upside down"Strangely enough I have them and also some others "chunkier" formats that are heavier, made with "my colours" pink & lumo.
Got them in CT before going to Durbs, but did not rig them yet.
He can't, he only copies lures! If you give him a 300 gram jig he will copy it for you! But you can't get mine.. sorry!fedu wrote:I will ask them to make some heavier ones for you 300-350-400grTre told me middle of the afternoon.

FA we get big Wreckfish on the very deep wrecks off Durban but illegal to catch although I would love to give it a bash!!Nice fish.
I really must come to Angola I am Jelous now.
,, to much MB
how about a few pics? I love the look of those boats - the extention at the back looks like some kind of bull-bar for protecting the outboard? either that or some kind of platform to hop onto when pushing the boat thru the surf.Blaasoppie you make me happy to know I'm not the only one fishing from one of those. Except mine is 'blinged' with rodholders allover for trolling and stowage, a fishfinder, gps, roof and most important a floor! Mine is about 12 m in lenght and only 2 m wide which I had build brand new with a 40hp enduro.
What can I say, when you are desperate you'll do strange things to satisfy your urge! But she has served me well so far.
