I'm just as keen for info on Sofala. We were booked for Lazarus in Oct 2020 and we all know how that worked out... We were then rescheduled for Oct 2021. Isis had other plans tho and now there is no more Lazarus on the table until they regain control of the Northern regions of Moz.
So we have ow been rescheduled for Sofala in March. A mate and I have actually been wanting to fish the area for some time now. There's great reports of light tackle fishing 10 - 15 ks off Beira. Sofala is further offshore than that, and slightly south but the structure looks good with a few big drop offs. I've asked a few on the fishermen in the Baz area if they have any pointers and no one has fished that area. But I'm super excited about going. I've done Laz 3 times and I was quite keen on an alternative.
