  4. Topic : Your best catch of 2011, bait or lure. (no dropshot please) [/*]
  5. Concerning pics of captured fish - we pride ourselves in promoting Catch and Release, therefore:  [/*]
    • all Angling regulations must be adhered to [/*]
    • no pictures of dead or gaffed fish will be eligible for prizes.   [/*]
    • no pictures of any protected species will be accepted.

  6. Photos from the submissions will be chosen by the Sealine Team/Admin as finalists.   [/*]
  7. The Winner/Runner up will also be chosen by them on a voting system.  [/*]
  8. In the event of a tie, the Emperor's decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.    [/*]
  9. No photo shopped or altered pictures allowed. [/*]
  10. Images should be submitted in 600pixels maximum dimension. [/*]

My first Smoothhound Shark caught at Langebaan. Picture taken by my eldest brother with my middle brother and Dad in attendance.  Getting to fish with them makes this even more special. 

Tackle: L&F Sharkey, Torium 30

Trace: 1mm Hookline, 10/0 Eagle Claw Circle Hook.

Bait: Mullet Head

My First Bronzied 1.76m 76 kg, Robberg point sliding yellowtail,Rod 1446 shimmie exage torium 30 reel,no gaf was used. Picture taken by My  friend Jp registered sealine member ,Ferrars landed the fish with no gaf .

haha. wont even try to compete wih havocs snotty but will like to put some lure pics up. just want to confirm the diffs between a lure lure and a drop shot lure. bit confused about the rule.

Fish was safely released, it took me and Willie Forster +-10min to revive but it was safely released :)

Gills was not damaged, the GT was picked up on the plates for this pic...

sustain 2500, 8lbs power pro braid, shimano crucial light.

lure was a storm chug bug.

tagged and released and was recaptured in Zinkwazi a month later.

Armand with his PB spottie, caught with a Saltist 50, Exage 1468 (if I remember correctly) using barber as bait, spottie measured 1.74m, that makes it 28.96Kg according to fishweights.co.za.
