Good Evening Fellow Sealiners

Does anyone have experience using a Sensation Dark Shadow Combo (Casting)? The spec on the combo looks good and is well priced.

Help....

That looks very nice, i use many okuma products think they are good value for money, bass wise i have been using for many years shimano caenan on a 7ft med heavy cherrywood have pulled many fish bass and barble and has not missed a beat ( reel was R600 and rod R350), you can have a look at the shimano slx combo if they around still, not sure about the price though....

Thanks, ill look into those. Nowadays there are so many cheap brands on the market you dont know which is decent or not. Back in the day, it was Shimano and Daiwa. Nowadays those brands might break the bank;)

True that, just before buying check if you can see it in hand have a feel, test the drag, check how strong frame is by twisting the reel on mounted rod see how much flex there is, these reels look nice and shinny and also flimsy, bass fishing with braid on baitcaster is hard on gears, cheap reels wont last in the longterm.

Best regards
