For grip you use sharp knife and just cut & peel it off.
To put on EVA tube you will also need to remove guides, unless your blank is not tapered at the back and you can slide it on from the rear, or use flat sheet foam rubber and contact glue, works 100%

To remove winch may be tricky depending with what type of glue it has been put in place, if metal or graphite, taper of rod, and how tightly it fits. I always use hotmelt for that purpose and recently had a factory rod that also had some glue that came off with heat.

Mostly u need to cut it with a sharp knife or hacksaw blade, and buy a new one. Again, you need to consider if you need to remove guides as well to be able to replace winch.

If winch has some sort of hotmelt, it may be possible to move it without damage.

Why do you want to remove the winch?

Mr Kumz,
Anyone who is not duel left handed can work on a fishing rod, it's easy as pie and some of us like it.

Fishing tackle is really not high tech even though it suits some to make it sound that way.

Ek se maar net.

My Galjoen rod consists of two completely different rod pieces I made in to one, it called a Purglas/Marlin blank!
Caught 3 Galjoen on it yesterday while others around me got only one amongst them, despite their shiny new tackle. That what I call fun. ::hapmad::hapmad::hapmad

Very seldom take photo's, I catch enough fish that I no longer have to impress anyone.:sf:::
Seeing I don't work I can fish every day and when the weather is bad, I make and fix all sorts of tackle.
Here is a pic of some boat fishing earlier this winter, just for you, I shared the one  with a Bronzie.....::rofl:::rofl:

PS  You dont know how many anglers were on the boat, so don't count.

Yep, keep the economic circle moving and create those jobs we so desperately need.

Two right hands catch more fish though!

I'm coming to visit your end of the wood (CSF) next week, hope there is still something to catch there this time of the year.

Sorry for the hijack Ulquiorra
