Rod for my kite

Hi Sealiners

I am in the process of getting my kite angling gear together. I am still a novice at this form of fishing so any advice will help. I will be using the small and medium sites from windsong and will be using release clips to drop baits. What rod and reel should I buy for attaching the kite to? My budget is R1200.00.

You will get better feedback if you post your query under Kite Fishing which is found under General Angling topics. This part of the forum is for artlure and the only kites we know of are the one's kids use in parks
