Very good looking "bling" for lures - just my opinion , however for one to have some of the tape, you got to order yr monies worth to justify the postage cost or collect in Dubs from BJ.

If you only order prism tape, rather speak to me or Andre Laas. It can be posted with stamps - Maybe R5-R10.

I had as good chuckle now when reading BJ's reply. It made me think about the good old times.

To be honest with you - when last did I myself make use of an envelope & stamps to post s.thing ? Maybe 15 or much more years ago.
Just talking about envelope & stamps for those not use to it any more/longer, is like bringing up the good old days again BJ & it shows how easily we can write of or even nearly forget the cheaper reliable options we still have.

Nowadays its parcels with fast-mail /couriers/Emails/SMS/Cellphones/mix-it/whats-up/FB/BBM/scan & mail ..............................& a load of other means , & we forget the old reliable methods...............:fbash

Thanks Bennie, they look great! Is the tape UV resistant? If you don’t mind, you can leave a small strip outside in the sun for a couple of weeks and check if it still looks the same afterwards?

I have been experimenting with different holographic tapes and gift wraps and it’s amazing how some look the same after weeks of exposure while others show signs of decay. They either fade in terms of color and brightness or they develop dark blotches.

Can you give us an indication of prices please Bennie ?
Sold in 100mm increments (150mm wide) @ R12.  Sealine members pay R10. Can cut any length.

they should work great with them home made conas.......

is there any one you prefer to use?
They all look great. But I also like mixing them up. Use the swirls or scales on the sides and the disco around the edges.

To be honest, I couldn't be bothered doing the experiment. This stuff we purchased in bulk from Witchlite who supply all the lure building guys and are the main suppliers of lure holographic tapes.

But it does say UV stabilised on the catalogue if that helps?

Thanks. It didn't mention the manufacturer on the site so I wasn't sure where it came from. UV Stabilised is good.

A question though... Have you got a lure with tape on/in it that show "decay" from general use?
No, I use test strips to see which ones are good. I don't want to use bad tape on a nice lure and then the lure looks crappy after a while. But I'm probably just a bit paranoid - how much sun does a lure see from general use before it's lost or broken anyway? See picture attached.

My point exactly. Never seen it myself. I loose lures or the flash gets chewed off long before it has time to decay.
