102..If I was to be nearly as lucky! Anyway back to the fishing..
Where would the fresh water land up in the wash, it has a whole different density to the salt.. Would it just disperse in the mass? Light organic material like plant matter would float up anyway and be held in suspension and pushed to where the water is washing at the shore edge. Like in gold panning, organic material is the first to get washed out.

Correct DR, it also depends largely on currents, sometimes if there's a ground swell running and a big side wash you get a band of very "fresh " or substantial lower salinity water, that gets trapped close to shore. Kob and steenies don't seem to mind it, but fish that don't really do estuaries like kollies and gallie don't seem to like it

Salticrax @ Strandfontein, the coast get fed from 3 sources I know with fresh water. Now considering the enormous downpour we had Friday to Saturday, the inzone was fairly 'fresh'

2: The Dump(Sonwabe)
3: The pipe @ the end of Brokens
4: The outlet @ Beespens.
5: Outlets @ the hump @ Macz
6: Outlet just past Van Zyls
7: The pyp @ Arends

Interesting.. If you could figure out where they go it would be like clockwork! They don't go too far I'm sure, just drop a kite with a big rotten lump of redbait to an outer reef in the stiff N wind..And have a security company watch your back while you fiddle with all the linework.

al wat op boatfishing tekort kom is die strand hengel van noord natal!
maar ons weet boat fishing gaan oor die bote!

sekere lede se post count is hoog, maar dit is nie n indikasie van die bydrae tot sealine nie of die regte kennis van hengel nie!
nie alle lede sit heeldag voor rekenaars nie, somige lede help om die ekonomie te laat groei!
Arme boepens, as n voorbeeld hier, 7000 posts, shoe dis darem baie, ek sal moet gaan kyk waaroor het jy alles geskryf, dalk het jy net meer tyd om voor die tikmasjien te sit as wat ek het. "niks leliks bedoel nie"
dit is seker waar dat nuwe lede van die forum, wel kyk na post count, maar ek sal hulle met hierdie post graag attent daarop maak, dat dit eintlik nie veel beteken nie, net dat die lid meer tyd het voor die tik masjien!
ek het self al op n ander forum gesien, hoe n lid, wat se post count bo 5000 was, en nou al seker oor die 9000 is, nog nie eens self groot visse gehengel het nie.

ek kan julle waarborg dat die verskil in weet wat om te doen en hoe om dit te doen, ver beter is as die teorie van hengel. "when you think you have all the answers to fishing, they tend to change the questions"
