Hi All
I am completely new in the sport of spearfishing, I am so new that I have not even received my gear yet, although it has been ordered
Seeing that I am completely new to the sport I will need a dive buddy, otherwise I will have to tackle it on my own, my 13 year old son will also join, but in the meantime it will only be me.
Does anyone have any advice on where I can go dive, where it is relatively shallow and safe, while I build up my breath capacity and fitness?
I know of Phillips reef, 6 Pillars and the harbor wall from when I started kayak fishing, so any other shore dive locations would be great.
It would also be nice if we can maybe use this post to tell fellow spearfisherman in the PE area of where we plan to go, how difficult the dive is, ie easy, medium or difficult, so guys can get together and make new friends, as well as getting dive buddys, which will make it safer for everyone.
Thank in advance guys, can't wait to meet some of you and hopefully this idea works
