I am sure this method can be used in other ways as well.

I havent tried putting it on a hook, I find hair rigs to be more effective but the Guys in the UK that do feeder fishing and pole fishing use the smallest syringe possible and thread the bread onto much smaller hooks.

If we make it smaller but use bigger hooks (#3 or #4) it should work. I want to try it at our next clubcomp at the Vaaldam.

It works better when using small syringe, compresses it more. Whats nice is when it swells on the outside it actually covers the hook so it looks like a piece of bread, no hook is visible. This method is aimed for tempo fishing so for conventional fishing it will be good.

Let me know how it goes. I have a match session planned this Sunday so I will try the one rod feeder setup and put the punched bread direct on the hook and see how it goes.

Give you a report on monday

One can even make a few of these extra and add it whole or in smalle pieces to your groundbait.

That will work. I would go more for PVA bag or PVA stocking, this will ensure you hook bait is smack in the middle of the offerings
