I'cve been absent for a long While on the site , and miss the idle banter of the guys on here .

On a More Serious note , for a change , besides being beaten On robberg , and some Epic , trips to Mazeppa , i've also managed to stumble across a Few new things , one of which i simply cannot Ignore , and simply have to post a pic and tell you guys about .

I've had some pretty decent shades in my life : during my Mossgass Days , i went big , and bought myself 2 pairs of the original Mission IMpossible sunnies .They were Expensive , well made , solid , expensive , Glass lens JObs. I Loved them . They weren't suited to fishing , and once the rubbers Let go , I had to be satisfied with the Fact that i would need to retire them .

I continued to support Oakley for a long time : Their lenses were then made from " Polycarbonate " .

Seems i'd fallen victim to the Advertizing Trap , and forgot just how good Glass Lenses , can actually be ...

Enter then , THese :

expensive but the best sunglasses i've had to date. two months ago i had them washed and dropped them on the tiled floor after trying to shake off the access water before drying with the cloth, the glass got chipped on one of the corners. it felt like loosing a friend. i have since glued it back together for futher use, an indication of how much i appreciate them.
