The rod is built to have a medium action meaning it bends through the rod while pulling.

However when casting the blank presents as a stiffer rod with a very fast an crisp recovery.

The 11' MH is slower in action than the 11'XXH and the 10'and 12'has an intermediate action.

Im fishing mine with a multiplier and it has the perfect action..medium action through the rod I can confirm, which makes it cast beautifully, and crisp action on the carbon and good response and sensitivity.

Doc which length rod are you using, the 10, 11 or the 12 ?

10 ft.. for light stuff, got a small few tail on it plenty bonnies and skippies, leeries and elf and a cobbie or two and others..
