Longevity of braid backing

I have had 600m of Kingfisher braid backing on my saltist 50 for the best part of 4 years. I must say I did not target sharks nearly as much as I had planned, so the braid itself only left my reel in a total of 6 or 7 times.

What's the verdict gents? Time for a new spool? Am I pushing my luck too far?

If it was Whiplash or HMP I would say good for another 5 years.

Unfortunately of what i have seen on a number of occasions I would not trust the said braid from day 1.
