I read online a while ago about guys overseas kite fishing from kayaks and catching big sailfish and other gamefish. Does this seem like a good idea? how would one go about rigging / attaching the lines etc to the kayak or ski? Also read about folks using kites to pull the kayaks out instead of rowing. Obviously this would depend on sea and wind conditions but im very curious about the fishing part though. What do you guys think about this?

Not easy at all.... quite difficult, I would imagine, but also quite feasible in a protected waterway.
Think about all the lines you will need to keep control of, maintaining your balance, (another topic), and then fishing in the wind can/will possibly drive you further offshore than you would like to be.!!
Note...dont go to sea alone.
