Spent the week end at Island shores, caught some good fish about 180m out. even the wife likes it, and believe you me that take something...lol, but I can remember as a lytie  a fishing week end where to relax peace and quite, well we where inandated on both sides with drunken noisy previously disadvantage that thought we were intrested in there kwyto music blaring fron there getto blasters. Is this the norm of bank anglers, me being a deepsea man myself, but thought let me try my hand at "papgooi"

The owners or manager needs to look at this as it seems like this venue has great potential.

Hi, Its not a norm, but does happen at some places, first time i've heard this happening at Island shores.

Were there 1 JAn 2011, you can have a look in the reports section. When we were there it was quiet, the guys there were fishing, no parties and this was on a New Years day.

You can get people behaving badly at any venue, this is also one of the reasons I registered at a Angling Club, everybody is serious but enjoy their fishing.

How the owner or the manager react to a situation may vary, but you must not be afraid to contact them, I think most places have a right of admission sign.

Unfortunately this has lead to many anglers being unhappy and go home during a trip that has being planned for months.

Has anyone been here in the past few months of year..what are the condition like. Is it suitable for woman and kids alike.

More importantly...how is the fishing?

Last I heard Island Shores was closed, but there are other resorts around in the area, not sure how the fishing is though. Next to where the main Island shores resort was, I've heard there are spots. No controlled entry though, & no facilities, so camping is at own risk, IF they havent closed up the fence yet.
