I lost my rods in Natures Valley

Sometimes we do the dumbest things...

I left my two rods leaning against a tree in Natures Valley, and of course when I discovered it the next morning they were gone!

9ft Loomis with Daiwa procaster filled with orange braid, and a 7ft Eliminator with Daiwa Crossfire filled with Fireline.
The small rod had a brand new Onda-Onde lure on.

Would love to get even just the small one back as I have fond memories of that rod - have had it for over 15 Yrs.

If you know who picked them up, or who has them - please PM me.
I understand finders keepers, but I would reallly like to have the small one back.
You can keep the 9ft Loomis.

You should ask around at the Plett Cash Crusaders or approach the small shop in Natures...possibly found by some chap who has taken a preference to drink rather than to fishing.
Alert the Parks Board in the area too!

Tough Luck, hope you find your kit again.

I went straight to the small shop in Natures Valley and asked there, but no luck.
Ironically, I left them leaning against a tree right opposite the shop!

We were camping at the Parks Board caravan site, so I did ask them, but also nothing.

I live in George, so Plett is far to drive, but will give cash crusaders a call on Monday. Good idea, thanks.

Anyway, busy budgeting to try and replace them......

I reckon you take a stroll down to the salt river mouth one evening, your tackle is probably put to use by the shad fisheman that frequent that area.

The problem is it's quite far to travel from George on the off chance that I find them.

Even then, I can't really confront the guy, as he rightfully found them standing against a tree.....

Anyway, I sure won,t do something stupid like that again, but it means I can go shopping for new toys....::S
