Howzit Guy's
I have seen so many pics and post's on family and father's and son's going fishing together. What i always admire and i feel we as anglers tend to forget what this sport really does do for us.
Fishing brings us together it fills a gap that sometimes can never be filled by anything else. What i am trying to say is that our love for this sport really has a prefound effect on our family life as a whole.Sometimes bad but most times it's good.
I have recently seen Reefmans Pics on his trip to Mapalane and i was taken back to the day's when i used to go with my dad or grand dad on these sort of trips. Those were the day's that i miss today. As we get older we tend to drift away from the regular family outings etc etc...And yet as we get older so do our parents grandparents etc..and this is when we should be the closest to them.
Last weekend i went to Umkomaas an dmy dad was there with his freinds and we hadnt spoken in a while, but low and behold the minute we get on the beach and the fish are moving we start talking and yacking like to buddy's.The point of this post is that i reckon we need to apreciate what angling does for us and the bond we have with family and freinds through angling.
How many of you guy's feel the same way and have had similar experiences? You know one thing ive learnt is that we need to be more like freinds to our parents and grandparent's in that way we end up being able to enjoy eachothers company irespective of the age barrior...
Cheers Riymos
