Howsit all

My mother-in-law is flying into Cape Town next week, and I have asked her to grab me a copy of Bait is the secret and Secrets of sea angling by Nickie Louwrens. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me where she would be able to buy these books, and also could you suggest any other books thgat I may "need"

Ant tackle store in SA should have the books. I know Solly's anglers corner in Pta has the books. Try and order the books directly from Nikky Louwrens.

I got both my books from Exclusive books, seeing your mom in law would rather be @ a shopping centre than a tackle shop

i have secrets of shore angling and a couple of other books from Oom Nickie and have caught most of my fish, using what is said in the books. very informative and simple to understand. like he says in the book, "hook him , play him, land him"

in one of the esa issue's (i think november  or december 08)  raymond says that he has developed-created a chokka bait presentation on one his fishing trips when targeting kob.... i read this a few moons back in one of Oom Nickies Books and when i mentioned this on sealine a got some heavy Flack....

he shares all his tips and exeperiences and it is a joy to read.

Excellent books!!!

I love everything in the books, but the best: the live bait traces - unique, simple and deadly effective.

I also think that being a teacher (if I'm correct) helps Mr. Louwrens to share in a very simple/understandable way experience and knowledge gathered over the years.

The most important thing for me is that the "dogs" of the sea do not feature in his books (as far as I know) and all the provided information is about fishing, not catching sharks.
