Ive only fished from the point and south. The point is a deep water spot, so its where you would target sharks and garrick. From there to anchorage is about 2km of reef. Good water for cracker and bluefish. Bird rock is probably the best known spot. Landing decent fish is not easy, but at least there are decent fish to catch. From anchorage to umtata river mouth is a long beach. My favorite cob beach in the transkei, probably a good idea to have company if you fish at night. The river itself is especially full of grunter, but you'll get all the usual species. The mouth is deep, if you cross the river and walk to the point you're at another good spot for sharks, but you could probably catch just about anything. From there to coffee bay is out of walking range.
