Hi all, wondering what everyone's thoughts are on

Hi all,
wondering what everyone's thoughts are on super soft floats (large ones) from super cast vs the hard floats from super cast

Which ones would you rather use and why?

Many thanks

Both are soft when they are in the water for longer than 30 seconds

Soft floats are however made soft with a variety of products and flavours etc, etc. So they carry more sweetness and flavour

They are also tougher so keep for longer on the hook

So it comes down to choice and strangely if bite tempo is slower then the soft floatie is better suited as it keeps for longer on the hook

This goes for all soft vs hard floaties and not just Supercast's

Thanks for your reply!
You said to me on a different post I added earlier this week that I can try add a dough behind my float? Do you have any recipes?

Just search sealine for sweet white dough recipe it's been covered a couple of times.

Basically, cake flour, sugar and water.

Dissolve sugar in water (about 2 teaspoons water and 3/4 teaspoon sugar) add dough by stirring it in spoon by spoon till you can knead it by hand, add flour bit by bit till it is like chewing gum but no longer sticks to your hands.

Must say I also prefer the hard floats can confirm that they stay on longer .I am not into the whole tempo fishing thing.
Ill keep the softs in mind next time the fishing is coming out quicker than 10 mins per cast.

On the contrary the Soft floats stay on longer as the process we use to make them soft also makes them tougher.

I generally prefer soft and flavoured, mostly Vampire and Minx (Bunspice) floaties

If the fish are biting at high tempo ie less than 2 minutes for a bite then I switch to hard floaties that float higher and come off the hook quicker when striking
