Guys just got  confirmation from Mag Man , who is a casting instructor in the UK. that he will be available on SUNDAY 4th May.
I think this is a great opportunity for guys who would like to get some free of charge schooling. Who knows,  that 10 or 15 or more meters you increase your casting distance with might just land you your personal best.

Place your names a.s.a.p so we can get the reel spinning.

Hi Simen, I will try and confirm later. There is a possibility that we will be in CTN, but I too could use the scting practice. Maybe get him to help Linda as well with her new gear - she has yet to try it out.....and Baza is in 2 weeks time.

Wil be able to confirm early next week.

The youngster learnt the value of currency - Just started working weekends at a Computer shop.
If Ant is available I'll try and get him along as well.

Timewise, I don't mind, organise with Simen, and I will arrange with him on the friday.....he's my manager for the social cause I won't be online much next week. also I am more than likely following him there. I don't mind any time though.

Depends how many guys are there also, and what the guys are casting allready. It's usually best to work one on one, but if there is quite a few guys, maybe one after each other, maybe best to start early like 10-11 am?

The guys that want to learn the Pendulumn, it may be best to try and bring a few slightler heavier weights like 175-200gms, just to learn the swing with, then casting you use 150gms. I find for people learning the swing, the heavier leads are much slower and you have more control with them on your swing.

PS. where is the guys from the video..........I have lots in store for them......:swear

Simen, sadly, GL, myself and John Liverdos have to be at Hole in the wall, (practising time is over) and will be unable to attend. However, we will be thinking of you guys, and wishing we were there. .............................................

Mag-Man, could I tag along on observer basis only? I have already taken all my tackle down to SC and only have a tiny bass rig left here.

Hi Simen, Linda and I will also attend. Will it be possible for Mag-man to spend a bit of time getting her going on her spinning outfit? (She will listen and learn from someone else, but no-way will she listen to me!!!!).

It will be the 1st time she will ever have cast, so will be good for her to learn from scratch without having to "unlearn" bad habits.

The timing will also be good.....6 days before Bazaruto.

We will have her new spinning outfit (Exage 10' with the Spheros 8000).

Roy, GTZA... No problems at all. Simen is out the country at the mo' and so is Mag-man... don't think the clinic will be that huge in turnout, so there might well be the possibility of personalized tuition... ??

@GTZA - You can certainly borrow some of my kit and have a go, but be warned it's only Daiwa...:spite

Great RM, thanks for the update. Is Simen back tonight? I know he was in Namibia.......we are supposed to be meeting this evening, and there are a few guys meeting up with him tomorrow to dabble with knots.

Thanks, Roy

Thanks Reefman, although I don't have Daiwa I'm not anti. Only reason I have a Shimano Trini is that I picked it up at a song. To be quite honest, I use my Penn 49 for R&S, and immediately clears the fishing spot for my sole use as all the other anglers sh*t themselves laughing!

Now Now GTZA - Be a bit more respectfull.

I learnt to cast with a 49 when I was seven.
I still have it, in pristine condition, wrapped in wax paper on my display cabinet.(30 years later)
Second place is a tie between the GW 50 and the new Saltist 40
I still support Hansie - I mean Penn.
