Gilloolys farm

hey guys.

i used to fish Gilloolys farm in Bedfordview when i was a kid, now i want to go fishing there and was told that i would need a fresh water fishing permit to fish there.

the last time i had seen a fresh water fishing license must have been about 15 years ago.

i have asked at the post office, but all they have is saltwater angling permits, they haven't even heard of freshwater permits.

my question is, where can i get a permit to fish Gilloolys and other fresh water dams around Johannesburg?

 

any info would be much appreciated

By law any person requesting a license from you must be able to provide you with an opportunity to buy a license from there and then on site - if they donot have then they have no right to ask you - they are not currently available anywhere in GP and they normally cost around R15.

ok cool. thanks Ryan. think ill go there next weekend. going to roos se oord on sunday. havent been there in a long time.
