If you can get some ice lolly(Bunny Lick)bags. Fill with sand to the required weight and tie closed. Use these to get your bait out there and if it gets stuck, the plastic will rip, the sand will pour out and it will come loose. Reel in, take off the empty plastic bad(Dispose properly) and tie on another.

Casting off your sinkers? I also had that problem but I started tying a piece of thin rope to sinker and then my line on the rope. Worked great for me.

Use a longer drop on u'r cast to absorb the initial shock when u cast.

I use 9kg line 4 my sinker...Easy 2 break off or loose when fish on.

Galie 1st reaction when hooked is 2 find a hole 2 hide in. Try an c when u put a galie in a rock pool . He 1st go an hide under the nearest rock or crevice it can find.

Hi guys, sorry for hijack but how easy is it to make your own sinkers? How does one go about melting down the lead and stuff?

baie maklik....tel klomp sinkers op springlaag op of snorkel na vakansies as ouens baie vasgesit en afgetrek het op die populere vangplek...dan het jy klomp sinkers om op te smelt..of kry ou lood by scrapyard.....gebruik sommer ou swartpot op vuur....smelt lood.......warm vuur kwaai vlamme....kry langsteel of maak langsteel loodlepel...
goeie sinkermould wat drie sinkers op slag gooi....lekker handskoene...gaan vinnig...drie drie op slag
