Looks like a baby snoek or baracudda like.

Nice beeeg shoal against the wall.

Are they any good as bait?

To me it looks like a barracuda...Has snoek like teeth

Thx 4 the read Jd..it does not have that lateral line of a snoek..

Definatly baraccuda family then..Same as mentioned in that posts of 2010

It does not look like this juvenile has got a long front dorsal fin , like a snoek , a Barracuda has a short front dorsal fin like the pictures show.

It is a sea pike.

They are good bait. They are not related to snoek but ended up looking pretty similar.

I have got some Weird stuff in False Bay.
