Fg mono to mono

Hi just wondering if anyone as ever tried to use the fg knot for mono to mono and/or field tested it.
The reason is because i was messing around with line and tried the fg knot with mono to mono and it held up just as trong as the uni, albright and the figure pf 8 knot.
If you have tested it can you tell me if it works and or where it normally gives in
while out on the surf.

I've used it on my saltist(0.45mm to 0.8mm) and trinidads(0.6mm to 1.2mm) landed big fish with it on both set ups. just make sure that when you finish the knot that it is tight otherwise it does come loose after a while.

Sure, may be as strong as the others...But I can tie a fig 8 to fig 8 in the dark in a minute with no stress...FG, not so much.
