Explorer - do they use wood? plus Fusion 17 - a good offshore option?

So, Im after a seaworthy ~5m boat. Explorers look like a good option but I cant establish if they have wood in their construction. I want to keep it for a long time and dont want issues wood rotting due to water ingress.

Also, if you own / have owned one, please let me know if you liked it and what you though of the build quality?

Currently also considering a Fusion 17. No wood, but low freeboard (don't know if that is an issue in the rough) and pricey.
