Diver and Tiger Shark

Found this on the net.An amazing pic taken while diving with the tiger's at Aliwal.

yeah, he dives with about 15 of them. there was a documentry about him on dstv last month. how he tagged on of them for research an the tag ended up here in false bay.

Had the tag travelled with the shark to False Bay or come off the shark and come on the current ? Never heard of Tiger's this far south.

they thought it might have been the case of the great white eating the tiger, but app she was ok. cant remember all the details but think the tag came loose and floated down with the current.

The name of the show is "Dive to tiger shark central" the name of the shark with the tag was delorous. check out national geographic.

Yup. Was amazing to watch the rapor he establishes with these Tigers - Free Diving and holding his breath for 5-6mins without hyperventilating. Amazing documentary and footage

Watched a doc on NAT GEO called "Sharkman". These people dive with Tigers, Great Whites and Reefs. They experimenting inducing 'Tonic Immobility'.

Very interesting viewing.

was watching the same show today!!! man, we def breed some real crazies here is SA... either that or they just got big brass ones!!!!

was real interesting to see the diff between the reefs and tigers!!

A friend of mine Mark Addison runs this outfit, some of you might have seen the incident on Carte Blanche. Where the local fisherman, Bobby Naidoo and son got jealous so they went and caught a Tiger shark or two and killed it.
