Caught my PB of 8kgs over the weekend at Dimalachite .
Very exciting moment , can’t wait to break it 😁

Dimalachite does stock some good fish especially this time of the year.

Hi ,

Used a gumtree and two Juana soft floaties , with cornoflex
Sweet corn bullet as backing .

This was the only fish caught on a 3 day trip .

It was terribly cold .

Planing a trip to Tago next ,
Any advice on that destination?

Hi,

Make sure you fish the comp ground side if there is space, way more productive than the normal spot.

How does the river look at the moment, is it relatively clean?

Hi ,

I was my first trip there , to me it looked relatively clean ,
But the campers next to me mentioned that river used to be
Much more cleaner . And as a result the fishing is not so productive as previously.
