Not a lot of informatin about these boats are available.
I will check the buoyancy cetificate and publish the information I have for the record.

Compared to the 17ft Flamingo, Baronet, Caliber and Interceptor it looks like the cabin and deck is shorter and the rake of the cabin is very steep.

It looks like it will take bigger waves / rough seas better than the other ''river boats''. Freeboard/hight at the bow looks more than the other?

If someone has any experience of the Corvette, can you please share...

My plan is to convert the boat from Cat R to Cat D or C and go out in Langebaan, Gordons bay to Pringle Bay, mostly not more than 5Nm, for now. Fishing and towing a tube on dams/Gamtoos.

16ft, 1.95m wide, mine was built in 1986. Looks like it can take on rougher conditions than the Flamingo & Baronet. Hull bottom is flatter, so less roll in small swells. cabin and bow layout is very steap, so for leisure trips or to lay on the cabin, the Flamingo and Baronet's layout isbetter and I think that makes them more popular. They are also 17ft and have more deck space than the Corvette.
