Just Plain , i Gave Ants a Ring , and He tells Me a Few garrick came out sat , but In General , the water was too clean and Lacked some color to be Producing . The Conditions, i am told , are tough (um..so What's New ?)
And Few fish have been landed . SO far it's the Kinda Day where a 1.08 M sandshark is going to lift you Onto The scoreboard , somewere .........

Team Ec have hidden all the fish to Exact some form of Revenge, i guess .

It was a battle unless you had livebait! When we left at 12 the guys only had 2 sandies and 4 leerie. Leerie were all around 8kgs!

Eish! We have nationals there in a weeks time. Hope things do change for the better. As far as i know we are not allowed to use live bait, so we're stuffed wrt the leeries. Wil have to build a few sandy traces today. :X

Why arent you allowed to use live bait?

In nationals you don't supply your own bait, everybody gets the same quality and amount of bait. It is provided to you.

Damn fishing was tough !!!

!st day Gamtoos ...
Sad day ...
Thanks to KT , Havoc & Doom ... was great to meet n fish along with u guys !!!
KT that bait that i built just as you left got taken n i got biten off ...
I think ... i was on for 1 min ... then let it lay n reeled in ... Full metal jacket was gone ....


2 nd & 3 rd day ... we had open area ecl bathing beaches ... from Kabiljous till St francis point ....

Aqua , thanks for all yr help ..bait etc , was great meeting yr family , regards to yr Folks as well ...

i fish St Francis ..Owl St/ rd ...

Fishing was dead ..
i borrowed a 6 ft rod from a social angler & went scratching ...
Got ova 60 fish for 2 hrs ... many mullet , Karra's ./..Blacktail ... My largest Blackies were ...
27, 29 , 33.5, 35 & 37 cm ...  All released !!!

All  fish measured n recorded by Hansie from Tsac .... Sowy for bad pic , cellphone ... :::S
 these were great fights !!
Last day weather was k@k n raining ....
I fished the beach in front of Super tube- Spur ...

We only had 2 lick ups ... i was biten off , 200 lb steel clean after a 5 min fight ... 
and one took the back end of bait ... n missed the hooks ....

So it was a sad day ...
n league in general ... many guys blanked ....

I belive that many guys got nice fish Incl Marc Rubelli ...
Team EC u guys were super ...
with all yr help and assistance ....

Kt we may have a date in November !!!

Glad you enjoyed it "wormy" uhm I mean Kumzi.  LoL

You should come when the conditions are good, then you will know why the EC fishing is some of the best in SA
