Which is better to use when going deep sea, will a centerpin be able to pull more fish that a multiplier ?

If anyone could shed some light on this i would appreciate any input

Bottom Fishing = KP reel (Centre Pin) Trolling = multiplyer - depends on what fish u will be targeting - Here in ELS good to start off with a KP as most of the fishing is bottom fishing. 8 or 9 inch should be a good start. 50 to 80lb braid

As Rory says, bottom fishing KP, trolling, multiplier.

A KP is the reel of choice around EL. they are cheap, hardy, and once you have learnt the tricks of backwinding or gettings your hands off the handles and in a position to palm the reel they are the best by far.
A 8 or 9 inch is best but if you go deep for coppers etc an 8 tends to be a little small, especuially the handles and your baity hands can slip off the handles and cause very sore paws. The 9 inch had better handles to grip, but when they slip they are bigger so hurt more.
It will entertain the rest of the crew however.
