braid loop

Hi guys

I experiment a lot with knots, and have come up with the following braid loop which I'd appreciate some feedback on.

Step 1: attach a sinker to the end of the braid using a reliable knot. Sinker weight I use: 10lbs - 1oz, 20Lbs - 2oz, 30lbs - 3oz etc. Lay the line as in the photo

step 2: using both line in the bottom loop tie a 2 turn uni around the mainline leaving your desired size loop. The tag running to the sinker should be about 30cm

Step 3: Similar to a pr knot swing the sinker around the loop 50 times and the pass it through the loop. When swinging it is important that tension is on the mainline as well as both arms of the loop. Alsi pit a finger through the tag loop at the end of the uni and apply tension. You may find the main loop has twists after doing the swings, undi these and apply a littke tensiin before passing the sinker between the arms of the main loop.

step 4: Do another 50 turns by swinging the sinker around the loop, and again pass it between the arms of the loop. Finish with 2 half hitches around both arms of the loop. Cut tag ends after the uni an half hitches and you are done. If you like before doing the half hitches you can double the loop, and in a similar way do another 2 sets of 50 turns around all 4 arms of the doubled loop. This will further reduce tension within a connection to your mono.
