Best trace to use for Yellowfish in vaal.

Good day all gents.
I am going to fish for the first time for yellows in the Vaal. Not fly fishing.

I need info on what is the best trace to use, hook size and weight of sinker to use

I see nobody has replied to you. Did you end up getting any answers elsewhere?

We managed to hook a nice yellowfish with a sliding rietvlei trace although I'm pretty sure that was just by luck. I've heard from many people that the best to use is a running trace with one hook...
