Bass fishing spots somerset west/strand/gordonsbay

Hi Champs

Looking for bass fishing spots in or around somerset west/strand/gordons bay area.

Have been at ongegund twice with no luck.

Decent bass fishing spots are hard to find.

Often, ones mentioned on forums/websites or where catches are logged on fishing apps are over fished so to get a bite is extremely hard.

Smaller ponds and dams are easily over pressured and the bass become very shy.

Use google maps to look for dams, ask around your fellow locals where they go to find bass. I think if you’re willing to drive a bit further, you’d be in for great day.
