Mornings folks , well , well it is certainly lining up for tomorrow.... As you look at the synoptic , you can see the two lows that have passed and that high riding in...its a perfect winter set up... NOW...the baro has turned and by 06h00 this morning it had risen 18 points . so its steady but...

Well , the sea is on its head on this side , those two fronts that slipped south have caused havoc in the deep....heres hoping it all settles for the coming weekend... Stay tuned...

Well , well ...was absolutely a blast reading through this thread , ..some pretty decent kob fishing that took place here over a period of two years... Then it stopped with a post in 2015 , ..resurfaced in 2021 and stopped again....

Throwing spoon for kob , the conditions need to be pretty specific....one condition is the barometer , it needs to be rising and not standing still... This past weekend was a perfect example of that . While I have caught the odd kobbie in grubby water , on spoon , but probably only two spanning...

The synoptic as of zero hundred hours today.. the front about to hit Gough is a brute...

Mornings folks , well , the weekend produced no kobbies for me , I do believe some shad came out at the odd spots where the blue water had pushed in ...other than that it sounded pretty quiet along our piece of coast... The water temp was around the 20 mark , but still pretty grubby in most...

Mornings Folks , as you look at the synoptic , we can see why we had those huge seas , both those big fronts slipped off way south and hence we saw the big seas...that little coastal low is being persistant BUT , I think that high ridging in will squash it , although it may bring much needed...

Well , its 15h30 and those fronts are closer , the east has been puffing along our coast line as that high moves off.... I still feel , tomorrow morning and Monday AM will be the windows of opportunity ...
