Boilie Brands

Hi Anglers there is always different view on baits and which boilies seem to be working well in south African waters.
I have always used Dynamite boilies which have worked great for me especially the Spicy peanut, however the price has always been a problem for most anglers. I was introduced to a new brand called Specimen boilies and would like to find out if any one has enjoyed the results with this brand.
I believe GT boilies are just as good, however I am not asking to compare the 2 but would just like to find out the success behind both brands as I would like to try a new range for this winter.

Thanks guys and Tight lines :)

Down here in the beautiful Cape I have had extremely good results with GT boilies - personally I stopped rolling for myself since it's not worth the effort to do it yourself due to GT's great pricing. Currently I go through about 30kg of boilies per month...

Get boilies have been producing well at many venues.
DNA is very popular and has an awesome track record. Check out the get website for pricing. It's about R90 per kilo if only buying 1kg and about R750 for 10kg

G.T's track record speaks for itself,I wouldn't search any further.Their baits have been introduced into many waters for a long time now,so fish recognise it as a quality food source.Effectively this means that there is a big group of people all 'pre baiting' for you,so that's another huge advantage.

DNA is probably the best-performing bait I have ever seen,I have caught on it everywhere, even without pre baiting. If you buy the basemix and roll yourself,it only costs about R65/kg.The campaign DNA is even cheaper, and the plain campaign basemix is about R35/kg.If you roll that yourself,a quality bait costs you about R25/kg.Their service is awesome,Johann will even help you to 'tweak' a basemix if you want something a little different.

Now compare that to all the imported baits,at R170+ per kilo.I have never, ever used any imports.

Lastly, all the imports are shelf life(preserved).I think a fresh freezer bait will always outperform a preserved bait, simply because it is 'bio active',if that is the right term.
