looks good although i personally don't use them! our south African waters is such, that when sliding live bait, we normally would reel in the live bait to check on it and slide it again. the type of slide you made it is not easy to get hold of the line to remove the slide from the main line. that's the sole reason for using clip slides. what wire did you use? spring loaded stainless steel in the 1,8mm to 2,2mm is the correct wire.
