I'm going to Inhambane (Tofu) for two weeks in July. I suppose fishing off the side for the bigger species (gt etc) happens mainly in summer? I'm thinking of taking just a light spinning rod and some dropshot etc. Or is it worth taking heavier stuff too?

Always worth taking kit with for larger game fish species, they are always around, as well as edibles(Stumpies, Pompano, Matahari etc.) as well as sharks.

Especially that far up.
