Ek kan on gelukkige nie vandag hengel nie weens ander verpligtinge en ek hoop julle geniet die dag met jul galjoene.

Aan al ons galjoen maters wat gelukkig genoeg is om vandag vir hulle te gaan gooi op 2015 "Opening Day"- onthou tog dat al is 'n galjoen hoe groot, 'n maer ene braai en eet nie lekker nie - so sit asb maar die visse wat nog skraal is terug en vang en hou hulle later die seisoen in spekvet kondisie !

El is al van voor 06H00 af in die kelder en moet eers klaarpars voor ek gaan kanskry om ene vas te hou - geniet julle dag !!!

You can buy those measuring mats from SSEC-WC - very nice and indicates the minimum sizes as well as the bag limits of most of the popular angling species.
It rolls up in a compact cylinder, so it can stay in your fishing bag.

The gallies normally obscure most of the writing on it, because of their height, but here is a pic of a belman that faces the other way, so that you can see the mat better.

Sorry for the belman on the gallie thread though !
