Hi

Thanx for the mana. :)

Yes they do have camping. There are 4 little islands. and you can camp on the islands. So not alot of space so you may need to book in advance. Not sure on price. Also the ablutions are not gr8, only really a toilet and wash basin so not really good for long stays.

The last time I was there they were busy building chalets. Not sure if they are finished or not.
They have the whole are fenced off with electric fencing and a guard walks the grounds at night. Quinton (the owner) decided to get security when more woman and children were starting to stay the night.

Hi there , last time we went to TH it was mainly to target Carp on fly , having said that my son did klap a trout too :)

Suggest you call Corrie on 078 586 5687 , she is Quinton's manager and can tell you if they have stocked with trout recently.

awsome, thanks Urban.

seems we will have some good fun there.

now my son and I are not at all fisherman, we just managed to get some rods and his excitement led him to catch some worms for the trip, any advise that we could use for bait, what should we try and what will we catch on, to be honest we dont even know what fish bite on, we bought some mielies, dipped in Honey, and different flavours, would that help or work?

You will come to a T junction follow the N14 right again. A few hundred meters down the road the road splits, follow the N14 to the left.
Keep straight, I unfortunately cant give you how many Km's you need to drive. you will drive for some time and come to a large intersection 4way stop. you will see a factory of sorts in-front of you to the right. Go straight over the 4way stop.
at this point your pretty close. In a few hundred meters you will drive over a tiny bridge  over a small stream.
once your over the bridge drive for another +- 900 meters. on your left you will see a small brown sign on a dirt road for trout hunters. Turn down the road a travel for another few hundred meters until you see a very small greenish sign on your left for tout hunters. this is the entrance to the farm. Its a long driveway, and its in bad repair.

Here is the map link on google maps. it might be easier for you to find your way from the map:

Was there few months ago when I was travelling through South Africa. Had a great time camping there. Maybe a link to their website also helps. http://www.trout-hunters.com Nice greetings from Vienna, Austria
