Basically you need to follow the N14/Krugersdorp free way west. you will come to a set of traffic lights, where you will turn right to follow the N14.
You will come to a T junction follow the N14 right again. A few hundred meters down the road the road splits, follow the N14 to the left.
Keep straight, I unfortunately cant give you how many Km's you need to drive. you will drive for some time and come to a large intersection 4way stop. you will see a factory of sorts in-front of you to the right. Go straight over the 4way stop.
at this point your pretty close. In a few hundred meters you will drive over a tiny bridge  over a small stream.
once your over the bridge drive for another +- 900 meters. on your left you will see a small brown sign on a dirt road for trout hunters. Turn down the road a travel for another few hundred meters until you see a very small greenish sign on your left for tout hunters. this is the entrance to the farm. Its a long driveway, and its in bad repair.

Here is the map link on google maps. it might be easier for you to find your way from the map:
http://maps.google.co.za/maps?q=-26%C2%B0+6%27+10.89%22,+%2B27%C2%B0+39%27+8.27%22&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=-26%C2%B0+6%27+10.89%22,+%2B27%C2%B0+39%27+8.27%22&gl=za&ei=-R6GS7CODIeH4Qatk4nEDw&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=title&resnum=1&ved=0CAcQ8gEwAA

Its R50 per person for they day, C&R for Carp, Kurper and Bass. R70 per kilo for trout which they only stock in winter it seems.

Hi Johnathanakr

Thats a nice carp , we normally go to Footloose trout farm in fourways and will love to give this place a try . Do you catch them on conventional type tackle .Any tips where to sit and is there shade close to the water.Planning on taking the family :)

Hey
I have not tried footloose. must try it sometime.
We fly fish for the carp, but there are allot of people that come with conventional tackle.

The damns are really well kept so you will be successful anywhere on the dams. The three top dams are trout only. and the two lower dams are carp kurper and bass. the two carp dams can be fished from almost all of the shore and both carp dams and one of the trout dams have islands. if you get there early enough you can claim an island for the day.

for conventional tackle either use pap and milies or bread. What I do with bread is mush it up in its packet pop and egg or two into the bread and mix it up, then pour a tin of anchovies into the bag and mix it up well and or even Tuna oil works.  I found that to be very successful in the old days when I used to use conventional. if you make the bread too sloppy add more bread, it must be sticky

Now days I almost exclusively fly fish. The trick with carp and barbel is to get them to actively feed on the surface. my secret weapon is "Epol anchovy flavored cat pellets"
They float incredibly well with most of the pellet just under the surface. they don't disintegrate and they don't sink. when I first arrive I throw about 3 hand fulls of pellets out and wait. First the baby carp and kurper hit the pellets but are too big for them to eat, so they attack the pellets but they stay floating. then you will see some of the babies jump out the water and dart off, thats when you know there is a big fish just under the pellets and they gonna start feeding. the Carp tend to come up slowly and suck the pellets in, watch which direction he is moving usually sucking pellets in along a path. land your fly about 50cm in-front of them. The trick with carp is do not strike. They often push the fly away while trying to take it and if you strike you miss, wait for him to grab the fly and go under, most times he will hook himself, sometimes all you will need to do is lift your rod tip.

Once the first lot of pellets are finished then I just throw out 10 - 15 pellets at a time to keep the fish interested and in the area. try to keep the pellets in a small area. you dont want to throw them far out and away from each other because you loose the feeding frenzy that way.

I find light brown/grey foam beetle flies around the same size as the pellets work the best. DDD's also work but once you have  caught a fish or two they sink like rocks from the fish slime. so yea Foam beetles work well, don't sink, they sit in the water very much the same way as the pellet and are tough so you can catch many fish on one fly.
