Hi guys when fishing the reefs I noticed sard goes pap very quickly and was told buy a local angeler that the guys mostly fish chokka,just for the guys that also take chokka what do you keep it in? I think a fishgear hipster cooler will work and so will buy one asap-what outher solutions do you guys have to combat the sard problem?

While we are tying traces and planning the "line of attack" for tomorrow, I received the pic of those neuprene gloves that could save you some skin and blood if/when you go over on top of the reef.

Cheers and ::tight:for tomorrow !
I couldn't find the exact same gloves, but picked up these from Somerset Sports and they should work just as well.

The remaining full fingers, could give some extra protection, but if it bothers you, you can just cut them off and end up with fingerless gloves !

Cheers

Hi not really the place to ask the question but ja lol. Melkbosh is not a good spot unless you know it inside out your best bet would be to fish the strand. I recomend blakes beach or melkbaai,the fence blackes it to the left of the strand pavillion when facing the sea and the fence is near the mouth of the lowrence river on melkbaai beach. Fish there are kob elf and steeni and leeri if you spin if you fish near rocks at blakes you can get pan fish,bait prawn,worm sard and chokka.

Were these pics taken during last week?

Saw some guys out where they were taken.

Haven't ventured out to the reefs myself, but would like to try one day.
