Nifty little clip. Would be a lot cheaper than the breakaway clips I'm sure?

I haven't seen this clip on any of the NZ tackle websites. Will post your pic on some forums here and see what comes of it. Would be great if it's available here as the breakaway clips are very overpriced.

I've still got a few hundred packets of those, bought them along with our carp tackle from India, they sell retail for under R8 a pack of 10

You can put in a clip facing up and a clip facing down and then while the rig is hanging under the weight of the sinker wind the extra long hookline around, the clips can't be glued as you need to be able to take up any slack by pulling the clips apart.

This is a trick a Portuguese R&S angler showed me and we use it to catch Mullet and Ballyhoo with as we have a 3m hookline and bead float that floats the bait close to or on the surface where those species feed.
