Its Stainless steel and i prefer 1.6mm.

3 turns is the norm but slides faster with 4 or 5 turn. Depending on the wave action. I will make more tomorrow and post some pic's

Prefer a Fig 8 on the trailer hook and a snell knot around the carrier hook......

Hmm, will post a pic too.....

I also use the knots but for illustration purposes i use crimps. Which works fine if you press the tag end through twice. tested it that way with 220 pound steel trace and my bakkie. Just the washing line broke. ::eek:op::The trace kept on fine

Howzit. I make my own slides. Use 1.6mm springsteel for the slide. 2.4mm stainless welding rod for the end rings. Use no1 normal swivels and it's weighted with a 1/4 ounce. Made 50 on Monday night. I'm prepared to make some to your specs. Give me a shout. dup-zn.

Did you come right with the slides Volcom? Do you still neeed me to look at JHB prices...?
 

Hi Volcom,

I can get them in Jhb for around R30 with power swivels, weighted and non. Lemme know if I should look out for some for ya.
