I was busy cleaning & servicing a ABU baitcaster 7000 for a friend when my whole process came to a halt just cause I could not release the whole drive shaft from the fixed shaft on the brake plate. I sincerely struggled & it had me going for minutes trying to figure out whats holding it back..............mmh mmh..... I turned that plate all directions & up & down..................trying to find the stupid little pin might holding it back.....................no go..........:?
I call up the only ABU fundi I know nl Fritz Rossouw aka FRITZABU :breakd:...........after a brief explanation he told me to look for the little ridge that was formed by the friction of C-clip holding back the shaft & how to remove it.
Two minutes later it was sorted & wallah............................:woohoojust goes to show how much worth is experience & knowledge held by our fellow SL's & friends ::respekt:

One cannot describe how much worth it is to know a friend/buddy who can at the button of a cell help you so quick in stead of spending hundreds at a tackle shop.
