Thanx Walt. Well session 2 was a much better one. We hit Macs on wednesday, and started off being a sloooow day. Moved from the reefs down to "cones" . Boepensie put out a sandie head on slide and 45min later his rod took a dip. He was at his rod in a flash, and I was at his side , giving my 2c. Definite bronzie, and VAS! 2min in and the leader gets bitten off. BALLS! I took a swim and threw some live mullet but these were untouched after a 45min soak, so back down to the reefs we went. It was chaos from the first cast, but we were missing fish left right and center! NO more circles for gallie! Hanness was first to go vas with a verry junior gallie! Fish fever ran high, and next up was Reinard **Bokslagter** with a 45cm Belman. Boepensie followed suit with a 30cm gallie. Loads of small fish around though. We eventually had to pack up due to it getting dark and I failed to get an edible. Just one sandy. All in all a great day! We missed you Walt! Next instalment will be on wednesday next week! Pull in guys! On another note, Walt has spoken to Macassar police and they have indicated that the only fines that have been issued by them have been for driving "off road". also for anglers not possessing permits. There were loads of people on Macs and pleased to say all behaving. Lekker lekker

I wouldn't recommend going on your own,Alan. There may be okes there today as maybe theyre bridging the weekend, but think play safe until guys get together maybe Next Wednesday.

Think there are plans afoot for next week wrt a Groupfish. Not sure if it's going to be at Macs, but probably will be after this weeks gettogether worked out for the better.

I'm heading down now to Strandfontein,to try a new reel, and then have a decko at some spots, purely on impulse, and will play it from there.

Cheers

Some back to back storms coming, all the signs are here, nature has it's way of showing more than forecasts do.

So,it augurs well for angling.Saw the kilometers of blackbirds over last few days, theyre spooked and not sure which direction to head in.Winds have been swinging around in all directions as well, pointing to inclement conditions.

Geese are on double story roof across road from me,making almighty racket calling their cousins, buds, etc,as they're migrating away from Sandvlei water as lots more water is on the way.

So,Johan, get prepped, bud,as you'll soon need something to cover them shorts, lol,as Winter is arriving, say goodby to Vitamin D/Sunshine for awhile.

Lekker day today though, the quiet before the storms,in next week or 2 maybe,if not sooner?
