Wow... It's good to see the thread still going but I agree with Kenty 'Hate fishing like this' isn't very suitable... We were at Macs the other night and just saw this white golf with black tinted windows driving up and down, just a heads up but otherwise keep safety in numbers going::slr::

synoptics are the best forms of weather reading, if you can understand how they work they are the best, and barometers. i solely use synoptics for our rig weather monitoring, they very accurate. for laymen, the high pressures normally bring south easterlies or easterlies and the lower pressures bring westerlies and northerlies.

between(middel) the high pressure and low pressure , should be outstanding fishing conditions!..

Agreed!Around Barometer reading of +/-1005 is normally cloudy misty conditions, ideal prospects for angling as fish tend to move around with more confidence with less sunlight.

Spot the difference in my Barometer's pic?

Yesterday's reading was the gold dial on my Barometer @ 1012,and today @ 6pm taking a plunge to 1003.Dropping too rapidly, the signs are there for bad weather, maybe worse.

Just came from beach, tested 5 reels out for distance casting, and kilometers of black birds are on their way, warning us there's a potential storm coming.

I'm at SandVlei, and geese are moving up from vlei, another sign.
