Kenton-on-Sea,

What a place!  Been going there from since my life!

Anyway, good spots are on both the Kariga and Boesmans River.  I prefer the Kariga though.  Good fishing in the mouth with mullet on the incoming tide.  I also fish the launch for Raggies at night.  The cob are big in these rivers and if you have a boat at your disposal, you will certainly leave that place with a smile.

The locals there are always eager to help, for a small fee ofcourse. Go to the Kariga Boat Launch and ask around for a boy called James. This is a sweet young chap and he knows the river very well.  He will be more than happy to be your guide.  Be sure to take a prawn pump and gooi net.  Good size Leervis, BIG Grunter and Huge Cob!  All fun!

If you don't have a boat, don't worry, you can still have a blast, you will just be walking quite a bit.  But with the beautiful scenery and spectacular fishing, it is all worth it.

On the Bushmans river I only have one spot that I enjoy, The Sandbar.  A floating restaurant that you can fish off of while having a beer and a nice meal.  Only use plastics though.  Some nice cob came out there this past December.

ENJOY!:ifishin

Here are a few screenshots of where I fish.  Cob on the incoming with mullet (15-30cm). Leervis will pick up the same bait.  Grunter at the Mullen's Camp spot with 3 mudprawn on a small hook as shown in picture.  The rest of the spots are very productive with mullet as bait.  On the incoming tide you will pick up more Cob but the Leeries and Grunter are always hungry.
