PONTA DA AORA

I guys.Does anyone know where one can catch live bait at Ponta da Aora.Maasbanker or Mackerel.If you have any waypoints to share please let me know.

Dont know about maasbanker but the smaller sardine size bait fish is easy. After you launch head North out the bay. Line yourself up with the larger reddish house on top of the dunes. Cant remember the depth but you will be about 1 km out in line with the house mentioned above.

Just look where all the other boats stop and drift after they launched. One tends to drift South. Use the Sabiki rigs and you should be good to go in less than an hour. (dont forget the air pump)

I will have a look on my sounder to see if I saved the co - ordinates. Best just follow the other boats.

The place to go for live bait is doodles.

Pleasure. We Vaalies spend alot of bucs for a trip , we might as well enjoy it with proper coords. I think guys that dont share their waypoints are selfish. I dont mean they have to share their best spots , but help at least with some. Make the trip worthwile for the person. It is not like we gona clean out the ocean with 3 trips a year. Enjoy
